SERVICES
At Sexton Vision Group, we offer all services within the scope of Optometry.
Services we offer include refractions, contact lens fittings, cataract and LASIK co-management, annual diabetes exams and Plaquenil exams. Our doctors are also available for treatment of eye infections, dry eyes and ocular foreign body removal.
To ensure that our patients receive the best vision care possible, we use the most advanced optometric technology available and offer exams seven days a week.
EYE EXAMS
We do our best to make sure every appointment is comfortable and efficient. We offer a no air puff eye exam and the latest in digital refraction technology with Clarifye™. We also offer complete pediatric eye exams.
DIABETIC EYE EXAMS
We co-manage treatment with your endocrinologist to provide necessary ocular care and monitor for diabetic retinopathy utilizing retinal imaging by Optomap™. Your endocrinologist will receive a full report after each visit.
PLAQUENIL EXAMS
We are able to provide an in-depth exam for those taking auto-immune disease medications, utilizing full retinal examination, threshold visual field, and OCT. A full report is provided to your rheumatologist.
CATARACTS
We diagnose and evaluate cataracts, as well as provide all post-op care. We help our patients to care for their cataracts by co-managing their treatment with Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute.
GLAUCOMA
We help in treatment of glaucoma by using threshold visual field testing, OCT measurement of the nerve fiber layer, and iCare tonometry. We co-manage care with Sound Retina.
MACULAR DEGENERATION
To care for macular degeneration, we use high resolution imaging technology, OCT and ForeSee at home monitoring. In cases requiring surgery, we co-manage care with Sound Retina.
MYOPIA CONTROL
We implement the latest contact lens technology to help prevent progressive near-sighted changes in growing children. Using specialty lenses and corneal refractive therapy, we are able to reduce myopic change.
LASIK CONSULTATION
LASIK surgery reshapes the cornea, eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses. We evaluate patients for LASIK surgery, perform pre-operative and post-operative care and co-manage treatment with LASIK Plus.
ORTHOKERATOLOGY
We prescribe and fit our patients with a custom designed contact lens that reshapes the cornea to correct mild to moderate refractive error. Similar to LASIK, but without the need for surgery.
DRY EYES
Dry eyes result from a lack of moisture on the surface of the eye, often leading to discomfort. We can help you manage and treat chronic and acute dry eyes, utilizing Tearcare™ technology.
SPECIALTY CONTACT LENSES
For patients with damaged corneas, we fit a wide range of scleral contact lenses to provide greater vision improvement than is achievable with either glasses or conventional contact lenses.
URGENT CARE
We are available to treat a wide variety of urgent medical issues including treatment of pink eye, sore eyes, red eyes, removal of foreign bodies, and emergent care.
NEW TO CONTACT LENSES?
